Pretty awesome! it's been like more than a year since i last posted, and it seems circumstances are different! In tassie now and surrounded by two spectrums of the life cycle~ The scenery here is quite breathtaking, but then again maybe i've not seen much. these are some photos from my V9 razr~ If the mobile had not been bought for me by J, i reckon i'd've long tested my shotput skills by the tasman sea~ Date's 26th may, and i've spent exactly a week and a day here in tasmania. Here goes.
19th May- Tullamarine airport. Dad decides to test my resistance to annoyance. When the Lord sents someone to help you out with the golf clubs, u DO NOT leave the trolley behind, and in so doing forcing the good samaritan to be your eternal slave.
2pm, upon buying fish n chips and reaching home, i keep telling myself that i must not sleep, lest my body clock gets screwed. i can't believe how quick i've forgotten how nice the weather here can get. 16 degrees celsius on a backdrop of a kind sun sharing it's non-glaring radiance. I must not sleep. I must not sleep. But hey the weather is great! I must not sleep. It's amazing how warm it is in the house. I must not sleep. The lunch has finally settled. Fish n chips is always good. But fish and chips in australia, where the fish is fresh, and the weather is lovely, makes the meal all the more enjoyable. Okay it's 3pm, and i boot up my computer. Check my email and find out that i do not know the passkey for the router. that'll have to wait since i can't get hold of ken. So i decide to play a game or LUX on the macbook. Ok i conquered the world, and it's not 3.35pm. Since i cannot sleep, i decide to play Another game of risk. This time, black(hard AI) decides to gang up with the rest to take me out, before snuffing out the rest of the unwitting players. And it is now 3.42pm. Hmm. Time doesn't pass that fast when there is nothing to do is there? i start up my nintendo DS and play some Hearts. Player 3 reached 106 points in 5 games. And the time reads 4pm. I must not sleep. Even though i am dead tired. I must not sleep. And then i wonder what jeanne is doing. I've left her messages which she hasn't yet replied. Hmm..i wonder wad mum and dad is up to~ and wad bro's doing..hmm..and then i....must not sleep...and then..i realise how warm it is under the doona..and then, it is..DINNER TIME?! i've been out cold for about 3 hours. Dinner had better be good~ and it turns out to be claypot rice. I know why claypot rice is famous in Singapore. It's because it always turns out right there.
22nd May. Bruny Island. It was nice~ probably too nice to describe, so these are some photos. remember the camera, and rethink those questions. hehheh.

That's from the first lookout we chanced upon. I can't quite remember what it's called now. I like how the long part kinda connects onto the main part of Bruny island. Much like how a finger connects to the palm of the hand. See the river on both sides of the land? pretty nice this~ The photo doesn't do the view justice to be honest.

next photo is the view from Cape Bruny(i'm not that good with names..so i can't guarantee it's validity). There is a light house here, but a lighthouse is really just a light house. The view beyond the lighthouse though is of much more interest. It faces an open sea/river. You can't quite see anything beyond the river except a hint of highlands in the blurry distance.
The breeze hits your face and it is cool; The soft purring of grasses wisping around at the command of the breeze; The whispering of the waves against the rocks/shore; All evidence that natural serenity can be found in this age.
Ok from bruny we take the 330pm ferry to rush back for dinner at June and Damian's at 5pm. After the mad rush, we reach their place the wrong side of 5pm, only to find that we're the first guests there! I had a glass of red wine, which was a bit sour, but goes down well. Dinner is served at 630/or 7(i lost track of time) and thereafter footy starts. WB vs Geelong and it's an intriguing game in which geelong winds up the winner by 2 points. By then though, i'm back home, and checking my email, and my restaurant on facebook.
23rd May, and we leave for launceston at 1030. We travel along the midlands hwy, and reach launceston just in time to meet ken after tennis coaching. We go to someplace to eat australian charkwayteow, which comes with sliced cabbage, crabstick, chicken, sotong, carrots. and then, we head to the newsagency to buy a pack of anticols and some soothers. I find out later it's purpose. It's a good thing i travelled with ken, so i had tons to inquire about, life, love, food, family, the likes. I start to notice a pattern. After some silence, ken requests some assistance in freeing a lozenge from it's wrapper, and he pops it, and we start talking again. Which leads me thinking, why anticol and soothers?! there're like so better tasting lollies to keep us awake! omg licorice and medicinal grape?! well well ken likes is, so to each his own~ Ken said he booked some place for 6, but he's not seen the place. Haha we kept our fingers crossed.
We arrive boat harbour just before dark, and settle in. There's a nice woodfire heater and all. Love it. Essondon vs Richmond is on TV, and i'm so glad the bombers snared the tigers with a 40 pt win. Ken decides that he's done watching essendon, and asks for company for a carride to recce the route to stanley. And i hesitantly oblige. Dad follows suit. The winds at stanley is madness. I could hardly open the cardoor against the wind. Standing beside a geographical phenomenon called 'the nut', can decides to take a photo of me and vice-versa. These go into 'the freak children out' category. Freaking cold, shivering hands, bitch blackness. Someone remind ken that the flash on a mobile phone camera doesn't do much in catastrophic weather. And back to the cabin we go~ I shared the sofa bed with ken, and the night was warm for one of us. Apparently i was clever enough to unconsiously pull all the blanket to my side, leaving ken and his paltry modest shorts to the midnight cold. I also booby-trapped the underneath of the blanket with my personal scent to fend off Ken's silly ideas of getting the blanket back. All this whilst i was asleep! Ken may have pulled a fast one on me, but it was a good story nonetheless.
24th May, 620am, we're up, and we leave for stanley pier to do some fishing. We arrive at 715, and the sun is just about to rise. The wind is too strong to bring buckets and fishing kit to the wharf so we do up our rods inside the back of the car, and head out to the wharf, probably the stupidest idea yet. It is freezing cold, and the wind is stronger than the night before, i was on the verge of getting swept away! The waves that hit the shore sprayed up a heap of moisture that got me properly drenched. But WTH whats an adventure without a little danger? We catch nothing because of the low tide, the choppy waves, and the ridiculous wind. I shouldve known when i spotted no locals fishing. We head back back 845am, demoralised, and we tell the usual "well we caught a huge one but it couldn't fit in the car so we had to throw it back" story.
NEXT, we go sight-seeing. Back to stanley so mum gets to contemplate walking up the nut, which she smartly declines, and then to boat harbour for lunch, which includes fried rice, before we visit dip falls, where i actually fell enroute; the irony of it all. It was nice.
Dip falls.
From there we go to table cape, which is a giant cliff next to another lighthouse. Pretty amazing i say..the cliff view is breathtaking. No photo does it justice. It's high enough so that u cannot quite hear the waters. And you can see along the coastline of tasmania. There's also a lighthouse 1km from the site. It's really quite 'omg'. A photo to pique some interest.

Next up is a looooong way back to launceston...zzz...talked to ken about music and stuff. We reach and check in at the arc manor and had dominos pizza and salad from woolworths for dinner. Mental note to tell bro that there's a ken has a nice guitar at his place, and it actually belongs to bro. Ken and i watched 'the unborn' and i learnt that odette yustman is not just a movie poster photogenic hottie. I also said hi to sunny, and she allowed me to use some of the korean i learnt i picked up in sch~ like keneun syaworhaeyo~ annyeonghasaeyo~~ she said jeanne was very pretty and i am very lucky. Have to agree on that! ^_^ I followed up with Ken's lucky too and nordo yepeumnida~ I remove my contacts into in a drinking mug with some inviting saline solution. Gdnite. sleep tight. dun let the
bed bugs bite.
25th june, Morning, and we have savloys and eggs and baked beans for lunch. Ken goes to work, so we say our goodbyes. Off we go, back to Hobart. We take the tasman hwy on the eastern coastal route, so we get to do more sightseeing. It an arduous route, into the hills and dirt tracks. We see more farms and vegetation, before heading to st columbus falls. We couldn't get quite as close to the water fall as we'd like, but the sight of it was really something. I drank some water and it tasted good. It was cool/refreshing. 2 pics.

We also visited a place called ringarooma. WHere there were these chainsaw carvings from trees!~ Amazing. Self explanatory these pictures are, even with low quality.

There are more. But kinda lacking the patience to wait while everything downloads. So onwards commarades! we stop at St. helens for lunch by the pier side. Han sandwiches and nice salad on poppyseed breads. Blueberry muffins. I love holidays.
We head back to hobartttttt...on a long/painful/scary ride with dad at the helm of our vehicle. and reach back at 615pm. We get some chicken from woolworths, and that's our dinner. All in a days work. I boot up my restaurant city to catch up on lost time. level 27 here i come! tmrw i'll change the deco.

May 26, tuesday. Early morning walk at 730, breakfast cereal at 9. Download GG ep.25. 1130am, i follow june, damian, dad and alyssa to watch maddie swim! a pic of alyssa.
After swimming, we dropped by channel court and banjos/mures to buy a pack of 12 party pies, a steak/mushroom pie, a steak/onion/tomato pie, pepper/steak pie, cheese/cauliflower pie, and a pack of fish and chips! i had 4 party pies, and the cheese/cauliflower pie, and took half of jiex2karen's steak/onion/tomato pie! i topped it all off with some communal fish and chips haha.
Took the day off with a nice blissful nap..oh yeah..woke up for dinner, which was a weird kinda noodles (failed) with beef and other veggies. kinda mushy but (barely)pallatable i suppose. Can't get nice food everyday, so i'll take what i get! played jeanne's restaurant city but she's in dire need of the cream ingredient.
here i am. update again tmrw~ gonna MY chiong restaurant city now and overtake sabrina by tonight~ Promise to update tmrw! (if anything of worth comes about) signing off.
